With the approaching 2008 Arena Football season on the horizon, I've been jonesing for some 50-yard gridiron action. The 2007 release for the PS2 called Arena Football:Road to Glory is a great deal right now over at Amazon. Click on the link for more info.

At the time of this post, Arena Football: Road to Glory was priced nicely at $14.99. I'm still hoping EA will make a 2008 release of the game, but until then, this one will do nicely to help me pass the time until the 2008 Arena Football season is finally here (February 29th is opening day!).

The kickoff game of the 2008 Arena Football League season will be on Leap Day: February 29th. The New Orleans VooDoo will be zapping into LA to take on the Los Angeles Avengers. Fans look forward to the matchup, taking place in Staples Center at 7:30pm.

The Avengers ended the 2007 season with a 9-7 record and a playoff berth. The VooDoo were 5-11 but also set AFL records with 13,000 season tickets sold during the 2007 season. That support helped bring the 2008 Arena Bowl to New Orleans, and we suspect the VooDoo will be much more competitive this season.
